Marc Dennis Painter

Born in Danvers, Massachusetts in 1972, Marc Dennis was one of five sons and grew up in and around Boston, Puerto Rico, New York, and New Jersey. His father was born and raised in Havana, Cuba in an orthodox Jewish family (often referred to as a "Jewban"), and immigrated to Dorchester, Massachusetts when he was 16 when Castro took control of the island. His mother was born and raised in Roxbury, Massachusetts in a reformed liberal Jewish family.

In 2017 he was awarded a commission from the Metropolitan Transit Authority of New York City to design and create 32 hand-painted glass windows and two large-scale mosaics for the Wantagh Train Station on the Long Island Railroad. In 2020 his painting "Billionaires Are People Too" was featured on a billboard in Los Angeles from February to May sponsored by the billboard creative of Los Angeles.
