Stephen Knapp whose compositions of glass, color and light which have been gracing major public art installations and museums for the last decade presents his newest body of work in a stunning 3000 square foot installation at the gallery. We cordially invite you to join to experience this unprecedented show.

Nellie King Solomon is one of the brightest stars of her generation of painters. Another manipulator of light - her painterly but sculptural surfaces, true use of MULTIPLE MEDIA (think paint, MICA, coffee, grinds and red wine for example) and choice of surface (light penetrating Mylar) give her works an otherworldly sensuality. There is a familiarity in her line but the language she uses has been upgraded - improved for a new era and does not mimic those painters you may think you see in her work.
These are works that truly must be seen in person and the newest body finds her pushing to a newer height.

As one of the gallery's most successful and well known artists, many of you will be familiar with the name Andy Moses. He has also been an invaluable friend and mentor for the gallery and co curated the original Light and Space show at our former space. His newest works find him further investigating a series of works he developed in the last couple of years. Works, as the one pictured here that transport you into them. The looser lines give his new pieces a kind of fluidity not seen before. As in the past Andy's paintings manipulate light - and - shade. As you walk your eyes across their surfaces colors will emerge that you have not seen before. Mesmerizing as always.

Ned Evan's work read like music. He is often sited as painting ocean derived abstractions, unquestionably true but the ocean inspires music too. The tools he uses in each of these pieces even seem to reference the notes in a composition. Each work of this series, similar in tools and execution , has a distinct characteristic to it. That characteristic is enhanced - and engraved by the colors he assigns to each composition - colors that evoke clear emotions. Most collectors I know of Ned's own multiple pieces of his - like tunes that make up an album or movements that create a symphony...

This will be Cathy Breslaw's inaugural installation with the gallery and we are excited to see the final result. Considering this, I don't want to create a spoiler...she does use fabric as her main medium...but light and shadow (color) fit her so well into this group! I ask you to form your opinions of her work upon viewing them - and share them here or your blogs or sites - We were taken wholly by her creations and hope you are too!
